ANNUAL ROOF MAINTENANCE FOR LOVELAND
A good deal of roofing systems in Loveland, Ohio are going through an age cycle where replacement is going to be a factor. For those roofs 12 to 22 years old an annual inspection is advised. Older roofs may need bi-annual reviews of hail, ice-damming, and other wear and tear that may compromise the roofing system. During exams, it’s a good idea to have a cleaning as well if needed.
Our Loveland customers who have signed up for our annual maintenance program have reaped the benefits of someone looking after their roof annually. What’s Not To Love?
If ever there was a name that perfectly reflected a city it’s Loveland. What’s not to love about the city that straddles the scenic Little Miami River and is located within the Hamilton, Clermont and Warren counties of the greater Cincinnati area? Just 15 miles northeast of Cincinnati, the city of Loveland is easily accessible from I-275, State Route 48 and State Route 3/U.S. Route 22.
The city even plays off its name with signage containing the city’s red heart logo and its nickname, “Sweetheart of Ohio.” Loveland was also the natural destination for the U.S. Postal Service to unveil its new Love Stamp in 1994. And only on Valentine’s Day can non-residents reserve Loveland City Hall for their wedding ceremony.
But the city is actually named after James Loveland, who ran the general store and post office back in the day. Loveland was incorporated a village in 1876 and then a chartered city in 1961. In its early years as a city, Loveland was more of a resort town, where many wealthy individuals built summer homes. Many people referred to Loveland as the “Little Switzerland of the Miami Valley.”
Loveland is 5.2 square miles, 0.07 square miles of it water, and like other southwestern Ohio cities, its growth was influenced by the railroad and the Little Miami River, both of which the city is built around. Today, many people stop in Loveland to ride its nationally recognized Little Miami bike trail or to take a break from exploring the Little Miami Scenic Trail (the converted old Little Miami Railroad line).
Plenty to Offer
The population of Loveland is 12,081, as of the 2010 U.S. census. The average household size is 2.55, while the median age is 38. The median household income in Loveland is $68,801, with the majority of residents working in Cincinnati. However many work in Loveland, in one of four business districts: the Commerce Park, Loveland-Madeira Road, West Loveland Avenue and the historic downtown district.
When it’s time to play or kick back and relax, Loveland has it all, and what you can’t find in Loveland, downtown Cincinnati is a short drive away. Besides being a huge cycling destination, canoeing on the Little Miami River is a popular activity.
Some landmarks worth exploring are the Chateau Laroche (Loveland Castle), the William Johnston House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and Shield’s Crossings. Loveland also has 16 city parks, offering an abundance of open space and recreational facilities. Indoors, popular attractions include Castle Skateland roller skating rink and the Loveland Stage Company theatre group.
Loveland even has its share of celebrities. Hundreds of notable people from the arts and entertainment, business, sports, and political arenas currently live or have lived in Loveland at some point.
Loveland Roofers
Most residents live on both sides of the Little Miami Scenic River, with homes that nestle in the valleys surrounded by picturesque hills. Since many homes were built around the 1950s, many roof replacements have been done over the years by Loveland roofers, including the Roofing Annex. With a quality line of roofing shingles, including tile, slate, metal, and cedar shakes and shingles, the Roofing Annex brings a sense of loveliness to plain asphalt shingles.
The Roofing Annex is also called upon to provide its quality roofing, exterior siding, windows, doors, and gutters and downspouts installation services to new subdivisions throughout the city. Homeowners and general contractors are more at ease working with a local company that has high credentials in roofing shingle installation.
Throughout the numerous years serving the Loveland community as a trusted roofing company, the Roofing Annex has proudly earned an A-rating from the Better Business Bureau, a reflection of its quality products and exceptional customer service. The Roofing Annex services both residential and commercial properties.
